Todd Bishopp"I am 39 years old and I weighed 275  lbs. and diets had never worked for me. I certainly did not believe that working out for only 15 minutes twice a week and cutting my calories was going to work either. However to my surprise' "8 weeks" later on after completing the Abstract Fat loss Challenge, I had lost over 30 lbs of fat! The great thing is not only am I leaner, but I am much stronger too.

Jim and Lori "My wife and I had both been talking about doing"something about our physical condition" for a long time. One of my big challenges was always (and still is) finding the time to exercise. Most people spend several hours a week exercising to get any benefit from their program. One of the things that atrracted us to Abstract was the promise of only needing to work out one or two times a week for 15 minutes.

We started training in May of this year and after just a few months of exercise, we are both in dramatically better shape! As a matter of fact, at 50 years old I am in better physical shape than anytime since I was 25.

Beverly Dickinson"In February 2007, I turned 60 years old, but today, November 2007, I'm 60 years young!! I actually feel 20 years younger, thanks to the strength training program at Abstract Bodyworks.

The first thing I noticed was that I was feeling younger and stronger. Then one day I wanted new slacks, I grabbed my regular size & they about fell off! I thought for sure that they were labeled wrong but no, it was true , I had lost almost 2 sizes in just 10 training sessions. I was so surprised and happy.

Two years ago , My husband and I moved into a 3 floor condo, we felt at least we would get some exercise running the stairs! My husband was out of town and I needed to move a swivel rocking chair to the 3rd floor. I thought to myself, you know I'm stronger, I can do this and if I can't I'll just wait till hubby gets home. I grabbed that chair and hauled it up all 3 flights and two landings, and set it down where I wanted it. I still laugh to myself at the thought of a 60 year old grandma taking that rocker up all those stairs, but now I am strong and happy!!

Also a side benefit, I can now touch my toes & even the floor. This may not seem like much to some, but I have never beeen able to do this, even in my school days!

I am telling my friends, I love them and they need to be stronger and healthier too.

Iris"My name is Iris St. Clair, I am 86 years old and I have been training at Abstract for 7 years. I am much stronger now than when I first started my strength training program, in fact I am even stronger than my younger friends. I am doing things now that I couldn't do before, plus I still drive, do my own shopping and even help take care of my neighbors. Steve and MargaSteve and Marga Bishopp. I am an 86 year old senior with Parkinsons disease. As I' ve gotten older, I became aware that I was getting weaker. My family kept reminding me that I should exercise more.

In trying to fulfill this need, I discovered Abstract Bodyworks with its staff of professional trainers. They work with me one on one in private, supervising my program and encouraging me to assure success.Since starting this muscle enhancement program 6 months ago, I have increased strength in all my muscle groups, some groups have more than doubled in strength. This has produced some unexpected results!

As I have regained my strength, my energy level has risen, my body movements improved and most noticable, my attitude is more positive. I know Abstract can't cure my Parkinsons, but Abstract certainly has greatly improved my physical and mental health.

A note from Marga  (Steve's beautiful wife): Steve's quality of life has improved significantly and he is accomplishing everyday tasks more easily. He is working in his shop again and has regained his strength that is so important to someone with Parkinsons.

 For my part, I am more flexible, stronger, have more stamina and have noticed that my body has become more toned with an added benefit of weight loss. It's great to have my clothes fit better. It has been a pleasure to workout at Abstract!

VernLiving well requires that one be attentive to the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual dimensions of their being. My Abstract program has become a central pillar of being intentional about caring for myself physically. Twice weekly, slow exercise and adhering to Abstract's calorie intake recommendations has produced readily observable changes in my appearance and my performance in only a couple of months!

 The core strengthening that I am receiving has significantly reduced the chronic lower back pain that I have lived with for the past three years, much more so than the physical therapy I've done. At 65, I am a living testimony to the effectiveness of the Abstract program. Thank you Abstract staff for your instruction, encouragement, support and good humor.
